I’ve been sending virtual mail to your inbox for almost two years. What joy. For me, anyway. Now just imagine: What if you could get REAL JenPal letters to your real mailbox?
Now you can.
During the holidays, I love receiving people’s family photo cards. But what I really love are actual Christmas cards. I love glittery, glitzy, sentimental-to-blatantly cheesy, nostalgic, embossed, classic, gold-covered Thomas Kinkade-over-the-top cards. I love yellowing, musty-smelling vintage cards that have been used and signed by someone long ago. I love new cards that give a fresh take on the traditional. Snow-themed, candy-themed, Jesus-themed. I love them all. It’s my favorite thing about the season.
My shop is fun and I like curating special mail for each individual. And what I really love is to use it as a way to connect to others. This mail subscription differs in that I want to actually know about the recipient, not just send the same thing to everyone. I want someone to open up a letter or card and say, “Oh wow, this feels like it’s actually to me. I feel like there’s an actual human on the other end of this. ”
Life is hard. It can be lonely. Human-to-human contact can be hard to come by these days and the holiday season is a time when painful and lonely feelings can hit even harder. Let someone know you care by filling out a short questionnaire for them which includes a special gift message from you to them.
Christmas cards and mail are some of the most meaningful ways for me to celebrate, and I’d love to send you or someone you care about some joyful mail to help bring some cheer and celebrate the season.

How it works:
When you go to purchase, in the personalization box, there’s a link where you can fill out a questionnaire for yourself or on behalf of the recipient. There are a lot of mail subscriptions out there but I try to make it as uniquely personalized as I can. I’m very interested in there being a real human (in this case me) on the other side.
The more info you provide, the more personalized I can make the letters, from the content and stories, to the stickers, stamps selected, envelope and everything else. As much as I enjoy sharing what I love, I want it to be something the recipient can really connect with. Something to say, “Hey- I’m a real person and so are you. Nice to meet you, and here’s a fun thing.”

A single stuffed letter, filled with add-ins like stickers, notes, funny scavenged Internet finds, articles, and who knows what. I never do. Each is made to order, each is unique.
A 3-month subscription of mystery mail. Stuffed letters, postcards, notes. Random mail items, sent at random times, during a 3-month duration. I find the surprise is half the fun.
